Trip Itinerary

Meet your guide in Oakhurst, CA at the designated meeting location. You’ll follow your guide in your vehicle to the climbing sites (all roads are accessible with a two-wheel drive vehicle, though an SUV style vehicle may be more comfortable on the dirt roads). All climbs are catered to your own abilities and interests. Tell your guide your goals and they will cater the day best achieve these! Some possible options are:

Spend a day pushing your limits on the granite ridges of the Willow Creek Walls. Whether you’re here for a fun morning or a full day, the Willow Creek area offers fun and challenging climbing for the entire spectrum of climbers.

For the more experienced climber, spend a full day cragging steeper walls at Hawk Dome or climb above the trees on one of Fresno Dome’s numerous multi-pitch routes. These climbs range from 200 to 600 feet and provide a challenge for any level of climber.

Trip Reviews

Ross T, 2019

Our guide Benton did a great job setting up a climbing experience that was appropriate for my daughter's first time climbing outdoors in a setting accessible enough for my wife and younger kids to watch.

Dru K, 2015

Just a note to say how much Alexandra enjoyed her rock-climbing day with Riley - and how much we enjoyed watching! This US trip is a one-off trip of a lifetime for us, and that day will be a particularly special memory. I was very impressed with how Riley assessed Alexandra's current skills and gave her new challenges, and then as she tired, adjusted her final climb accordingly.

Sandra D, 2014

I want to say a huge thank you to Alex for his time & knowledge taking Matt & my Alex climbing at Fresno Dome on Saturday 16th August. He was a brilliant guide and both boys really enjoyed the time they spent with him climbing. Matt especially had a brilliant time and was really pleased to have been able to do quite a few climbs with your Alex. Ceri & I really enjoyed watching our boys climb and had a great day out. Please pass on huge thanks to Alex for his patience and ability to ensure Matt & Alex got the most our of their day.
