Explore alpine lake basins in Ansel Adams Wilderness
Summit a 10,000'+ peak with views of Yosemite Wildnerness
Relax & enjoy beautiful a stunning Alpine Lake

The high country lakes and peaks of the Ansel Adams Wilderness along the southern Yosemite border are truly spectacular. This trip takes you deep into a seemingly unspoiled subalpine environment where granite peaks, clear lakes, cascading streams, and wildflower filled meadows captivate all who travel here. Here, we spend the days fishing, swimming and hiking in this incredible lakes basin. This trip is for those with little or some hiking experience who would like to enjoy the dramatic landscapes of Southern Yosemite while traveling with a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable mountain guide. We’ll hike both on trail and off, venturing off the beaten track to visit places seldom seen by most visitors to Yosemite.

Trip Reviews

Jared R, 2019

I wanted to let you know how successful the trip was and how amazing both Katie & Dahlia were. It was pretty much a perfect trip and we ate like royalty- well above and beyond expectations. Thanks to you and your team for putting this together!

Sam W, 2019

My employer, Sports Basement, organized a trip with SYMG and I was fortunate to be picked to go. I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to backpacking in the US. The guides (Katie and Dahlia) were fantastic, the food they cooked for us was delicious and the scenery was to die for.
